2/24/2009 : Bud Martin to Run for District 3 Senate Seat in Special Election
Bud Martin will run for the vacant District 3 state senate seat in the upcoming special election. Martin, the Democratic candidate foir the seat last November, ran a strong campaign. A spokeswoman told the Associated Press Martin will toss his hat in the ring again. The incumbent Republican resigned from the senate recently after being arrested for driving under the influence. District 3 includes Farmington, Middleton and Milton as well as most of Carroll County.
