9/14/2009 : County Democrats Celebrate Victories, Look to Future at Annual Picnic
Democrats from across the county and around the Seacoast gathered in Rollinsford, Sunday, Sept. 13 for the annual Strafford County Democratic picnic. Sunny skies, mild temperatures, a beautiful setting and good company added up to a delightful afternoon. Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, House Speaker Terie Norelli and State Senators Jackie Cilley and Mandy Merrill spoke of the challenges ahead and urged us to keep working to achieve the party’s goals of social justice and economic progress including health care reform. Special thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s picnic a success!
